## Cultural Exchange Program in Quebec City The Discover Canada Winter Edition 2026 is an international cultural exchange program that will take place in Quebec City, Canada. The 4-day program is designed to bring together young leaders, students, professionals, and cultural enthusiasts from around the world to experience French-Canadian culture, winter traditions, leadership activities, cultural exchange, and international networking. The program will offer participants the opportunity to explore the historic city of Quebec, experience Canadian winter activities, and discover French-Canadian history and traditions. They will also participate in international cultural exchange, build connections with young people from different countries, and take part in leadership and networking activities. Additionally, participants will have the chance to share their culture during Cultural Night and explore scenic winter attractions across the Quebec region. ## Funding Opportunities and Eligibility Criteria The program includes 10 fully funded and 30 partially funded places. Fully funded participants will receive program materials, accommodation, meals, local transportation, program costs, activities and entrance fees, a certificate of participation, and an official invitation letter. To be eligible for the program, applicants must be at least 18 years old, be able to communicate in English, have an interest in Canadian culture and history, be passionate about cultural exchange and international cooperation, be active in social, academic, professional, or community activities, and be open to interacting with people from diverse cultural backgrounds. Previous international travel experience is considered an advantage but is not required. ## Application Process and Deadline The application process generally includes submitting the online application, application review and evaluation, interview if applicable, selection announcement, official invitation letter, and participation in the program. The deadline for applications is August 30, 2026. The application fee is USD 52, which covers administrative costs associated with receiving, reviewing, and evaluating applications. Participation itself is free for selected participants. The program will take place from December 26 to 29, 2026, in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. Selected participants will receive a Cultural Ambassador Certificate after completing the program and an official invitation letter, which may support their visa application where applicable.
