Corrections
At grantseason we correct errors rather than delete content. When a substantive error is confirmed, a correction note will be appended to the foot of the relevant article. This note will state what was amended and carry the date of the correction. The original text may be updated for clarity, but the record of the change is maintained.
A substantive correction is one that alters a key fact, such as a funding deadline, an award value, an eligibility rule, or an institution's name. Simple typographical errors, minor grammatical fixes or formatting adjustments are made without a published note. The distinction ensures readers see amendments that could materially affect an application or decision.
To report an error, please provide the full web address of the article and quote the exact claim you believe is incorrect. This allows for precise verification against our sources. We aim to investigate and respond to all substantive reports within two working days, and to implement any necessary correction promptly thereafter.
The factual information on our reference pages, such as details of scholarship programmes or funder priorities, is also subject to correction when the external world changes. When a funder officially updates its programme guidelines or a university alters its partnership status, we amend the relevant pages and add a correction note to reflect that the new information supersedes our previous record.
Our commitment is to provide accurate, current information for our users. The correction system is a core part of that, ensuring transparency and maintaining trust in the data presented across the grantseason site.
