Recipient Details

Alyssa Swann of Towson University and Breanna Billings of the University of Texas at Dallas received the Amit Gosalia Scholarship in Private Practice.

The Continued Achievement Scholarship winners are Parker Hagemann from the University of Iowa and Sophia He from the University of the Pacific.

Four students were selected for the Empowering Students Scholarship. They are Merrellann Sawyer from the University of Oklahoma Health Campus, Vanessa Diaz from the N.Y. Consortium of Adelphi, Hofstra, and St. Johns Universities, Ashlin Murphy from Wayne State University, and Katherine Kingsbury from the University of Iowa.

Specialized and Mission-Focused Awards

The Jerry Northern Scholarship in Pediatric Audiology, offering a significant $10,000 award plus travel funds, was awarded to three students. The recipients are Jane Zankman of Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine, Madison Broome of UNC Chapel Hill, and Caroline Henning of the University of Iowa.

Vahid Delaram from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign is the sole recipient of the Jill Botkin Hearing Health-Care Accessibility Scholarship.

Josue Garcia-Torres from the University of Puerto Rico, Medical Science Campus received the Judith Blumsack Scholarship. The Sadanand Singh Memorial Scholarship was awarded to Xinming Zhou of the University of Texas at Austin.

The Student Mexico Mission Scholarship supports participation in an outreach program. The 2026 recipients are Tahreem Shakeel of the University of the Pacific and Mariana Ibanez-Baldor.
