ARES International Training Scholarships 2027-2028 Now Open for Applications
The ARES International Training Scholarships 2027-2028 are now open for applications. The scholarships are available for permanent residents of ARES partner countries who hold a graduate degree and have professional experience.

The ARES International Training Scholarships 2027-2028 are now open for applications. These scholarships are part of the five-year programme 2027-2032, which aims to provide international training courses to individuals from ARES partner countries.
To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must be permanent residents and work in one of the 32 eligible countries. Exceptionally, people of Palestinian nationality are eligible even if they do not reside in one of these 32 countries. Applicants must also hold a higher education diploma and meet the admission requirements of the course.
The scholarship includes international travel expenses, living allowance, exceptional costs related to visa applications, registration fees, indirect assignment costs, and insurance costs.
Applicants must demonstrate a relevant professional occupation in one of the 32 eligible countries, at least two years after the last graduate degree and before the closing date of the call. They must also complete the application in the language in which the training is provided and be able to attest to a good written and spoken knowledge of it.

Applicants can follow these steps to apply:
1. If they already have a GIRAF account created and validated by ARES, they can use it to log in. If not, they must complete the account creation request form. 2. They must access the application form once logged in to GIRAF, go to “Competitive calls”, and click on the “Application - International Training 2027-2028” button. 3. They must complete and save the form, filling in the form fields. Some mandatory fields, marked with an asterisk (*), must be completed before the first registration. 4. They can complete their application in several times by clicking on “Save as draft”. 5. To resume a registered application, they must go to “Competitive Calls”, “My Tasks”, select the relevant form, and click “Open”. They can continue to edit it as long as it’s saved as a draft and hasn’t been submitted yet. 6. When their application is complete, they must click on “Submit my application”. After submission, their file will be available in “Competitive Calls”, “My Submitted Files”.
