Scholarship Overview

Applications for the Erasmus Mundus Scholarship 2027/29 are now open. The programme is fully funded by the European Commission and allows students to study in at least three to four European countries at three to four universities. Participants receive a combined Master’s degree, and some programmes include an internship.

The scholarship is available to students of any nationality and is one of the largest European government scholarships for international students. The duration of the award is one to two academic years, and the deadline varies by course.

GRE is not required, and there are no work-experience or age restrictions. Students with a GPA below 3.0 can still be selected.

Tips for Low CGPA Students

Students with a lower CGPA can improve their chances by:

• Writing a strong motivation letter and statement of purpose
• Achieving a good IELTS score

Work experience and internships are beneficial but not mandatory.

Returning to the Country
